Abstract
The Swygert Theory of Everything (AO) posits that equilibrium is the fundamental encoded law of the substrate, expressed physically as V = E·Y and biologically through the Sequential Equilibrium Quotient (SEQ). Here we extend AO into psychology: mental health is not a subjective or merely neurochemical phenomenon but the measurable equilibrium state of the human system across three orthogonal axes—(1) stress–recovery, (2) inputs–outputs, and (3) internal–external coherence. We formalize these axes mathematically, define the unified psychological equilibrium index Ψ(t), normalize its range to −1 to +1, clarify the coherence factor α(t), and present fractal signatures and falsifiable predictions. If validated, AO replaces symptom-cluster taxonomy with a unified, quantitative, substrate-derived model of psychological equilibrium.
I. From Physical Substrate to Psychological Equilibrium
At the deepest layer, AO describes all phenomena as resonant equilibrium states governed by V = E·Y. In living systems, this appears as the coherence factor α (SEQ), quantifying the harmonic quality of the organism’s energetic exchange with the substrate. Psychological experience is the highest-order attractor landscape generated by equilibrium (or disequilibrium) across three primary axes. Thus, psychological states are not emergent abstractions but mathematically constrained equilibrium forms of the same substrate dynamics that govern cellular, biochemical, and physiological coherence.
II. The Three Orthogonal Axes: Evolutionary and Substrate Justification
Across evolution, three survival-dominant systems govern life: (1) the stress system, (2) the metabolic/behavioral efficiency system, and (3) the identity–environment alignment system. These map directly onto the three axes of psychological equilibrium. They are orthogonal because each governs a distinct class of perturbations with largely independent neurophysiological substrates.

VI. Conclusion
Mental disorders are not ultimate diagnostic categories but emergent disequilibrium states within a single physical–biological–psychological substrate governed by V = E·Y. By expressing psychological reality in the language of throughput, efficiency, and coherence—and tying all three to SEQ α and ultimately to the substrate—AO delivers the first continuous, quantitative description from fundamental physics to lived emotional suffering and flourishing.

Mental health = sustained positive psychological equilibrium (Ψ > threshold)
The equations are defined, the predictions are falsifiable, and the experiments can be run immediately.
